Chatting with a friend about his fascination of the workings of a criminals mind on a damp fall day is not exactly conducive to hearing Rhythms for a Rainy Season as being anything less than eerie, introspective, and dense. It is over an hour of instrumentals with a wealth of hypnotising tracks that challenge the best of some IDM producers. Undoubtedly, this could be filed somewhere between Boards of Canada and other Warp related ditties.
