Following a reveal of the nominees back in July, Dave has won the 2019 Mercury Prize.

The English MC was awarded the prize for his debut studio album Psychodrama, which arrived this past March.

As in years past, the 12 shortlisted albums were selected by an independent panel of judges, made up of writers, broadcasters and musicians.
