Insanity

Their sophomoric release finds the band returning with a new singer, and this time around it looks like they have found their niche in the overpopulated death metal scene. Their debut album was nothing special and, to be honest, most of the songs were ruined by the vocals. This time around, they create original and melodic extreme metal. With a strong Prong influence in their playing, the band ploughs their way through the album's 12 tracks. The record's original and creative drumming, along with the caustic sounding guitars, helps to make this release very harsh sounding, as does the raw mechanical production, courtesy of Daniel Berstrand. Could this be the future of Swedish death metal?
