Danubians

Going even further into the realm of the strange are the multi-cultural ensemble known as the Danubians, lead vocally by the internationally acclaimed Amy Denio, also a multi-instrumentalist. Blending Eastern European folk, gypsy melodies, pop rock and Denio's partially improvised backwards-sounding languages, the music takes on the function as a soundtrack to a foreign puppet show for adults. If anything, this mix of styles creates nothing more than a big dose of culture shock.
