We're still recovering from Daniel Romano's Spider Bite — the punk album he released last week — but he's already moved on. In keeping with his practice of releasing new music every Wednesday, Dandelion, his seventh album of 2020, is out now via You've Changed.
According to a post on his Instagram, Dandelion was recorded by Romano "alone in a room for a week w a bunch of stuff." It's another musical throwback to a beloved era of music, this time to '60s psych.
To recap, Romano's 2020 output has included a live album "OKAY WOW," solo album Visions of the Higher Dream, Jade Hairpins collaborative EP Super Pollen, full-band album Content to Point the Way, a book of love poems, a 22-minute song with Tool's Danny Carey, a Bob Dylan tribute album and last week's Spider Bite with Constantines' Steven Lambke.
