A few weeks on from announcing their Lightless Walk LP, Salt Lake City smashers Cult Leader have finally let loose the first sounds from the set. Bleak, powerful, and self-destructive is their "Suffer Louder."
A vicious whirlwind of blast beats, steel-shredding six-strings and guttural growls are the key ingredients to "Suffer Louder," with the band proffering one of its most damaged tracks yet. As if doused in arsenic, vocalist Anthony Lucero pours out plenty of poisonous, painful admissions like, "the more I suffer, the more I need it."
It's a potent first taste of Cult Leader's debut LP, and you can stream out below via Decibel.
Deathwish Inc. delivers the album October 16.
