Brazilian quintet CSS have leaked word on their new album title, and it aint pretty. In honour of the cranky long-eared mammal, Donkey is what their sophomore effort will be dubbed, with a tentative release date of July 22 scheduled for the record.
The band recorded the album during a four-month session in their native São Paolo and presumably without bassist Ira Trevisan, who recently left the group due to "climate change and "fashion.
If July feels a little too far off, on Monday, April 28, the band will release a little Donkey teaser, the track "Rat Is Dead (Rage), via their website. The song will be a freebie, costing you nothing to download (because we all know youll just find it for free anyway).
Also, CSS will get their touring machine in motion May 5 in the UK and come August will starting hitting up a few Canadians cities. Well, really only the usual three: Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Here are the dates:
