Crystal Castles Continue Without Alice Glass, Share 'Frail'
Last year, the future of Toronto-based electronic project Crystal Castles was unclear when vocalist Alice Glass announced she was leaving the band. Though it seemed like that was the end of the project, producer Ethan Kath has resurrected the act and shared new material.

Kath shared the song "Frail," which can be streamed below. It fits in well with the band's prior work, pairing distorted synth sounds and club-ready beats with female vocals. The song's lyrics are available here.

The producer also released a statement about his working relationship with Glass and, well, it appears he's throwing a decent amount of shade. Read his statement below:

i wish my former vocalist the best of luck in her future endeavors. i think it can be empowering for her to be in charge of her own project. it should be rewarding for her considering she didn't appear on Crystal Castles' best known songs. (she's not on Untrust Us. Not In Love, Vanished, Crimewave, Vietnam, Magic Spells, Knights, Air War, Leni, Lovers Who Uncover, Violent Youth, Reckless, Year of Silence, Intimate, 1991, Good Time, Violent Dreams etc.). people often gave her credit for my lyrics and that was fine, i didn't care.

Stay tuned for more news from Crystal Castles as it becomes available.

Update: Kath's statement has since been removed from the song's Soundcloud page.
