Crematorium

California's Crematorium offers three songs of well-played death metal on this EP. The band displays an ability to play with the heavyweights of the genre and employs a healthy amount of groove to keep things interesting, not unlike Internal Bleeding. It's a crime that stale-mates like Bolt Thrower and Cannibal Corpse get released on larger labels while more interesting fresh blood like Crematorium gets ignored. However, the band still has an air of generic, bass-heavy death metal about them, but over time they could develop into something impressive.
