Finland's Convulse were never on anyone's top-three-of-all-time list or anything, but they put out one cool full-length, in 1994's Reflections, on Relapse, following up their deathier debut (1991's World Without God), before falling off the radar all together. Well, look who's come crawling back with their morose doom/death? On this two-song EP, the band demonstrate their diversity: the title track teases like Amorphis at their best, the melodies underscoring the doom-y death. Meanwhile, "God is Delusion" is death-y doom, with the tempo slowing down for some melodic guitar solo action, but apart from that, it's old school Swedeath all the way. Man, something about Convulse was always kind of cool and this shows they've still got it.
