Listen up, hardcore fans, some metal guys and a certain injured Exclaim! editor: Boston's mighty-noisy hardcore heroes Converge have finished recording their new album and are now in the mixing stage, according to their Twitter [via Punk News].
Not much else to report yet except the album will once again be on Epitaph Records, is expected to drop sometime this year and follows up on 2006's excellent No Heroes, which was Exclaim!'s pick for best heavy album of the year in '06. And this new disc will most likely destroy everything in its path, like all Converge albums do.
Oh, and a thousand hardcore kids just pooped their pants.
