Conor Oberst

'Upside Down Mountain' (album stream)

BY Brock ThiessenPublished May 9, 2014

For a few months now, we've been hearing rumblings about Conor Oberst's upcoming solo effort Upside Down Mountain. We've been treated to a few teasers already, but now a stream of the entire 12-track effort has emerged online ahead of its May 20 through Nonesuch.

Down below, you can stream all of Upside Down Mountain, an album that continues to explore the Bright Eyes mastermind's love for folky, dust-coated Americana. Included are the previously shared laid-back rambler "Governor's Ball" and the bouncing tropical-country-tinged "Hundreds of Ways," as well as newly revealed album cuts like weaper "Lonely at the Top" and the spaced-out "Common Knowledge," among others.

Listen to the entire album below via Music Feeds [via Consequence of Sound].

UPDATE: Sorry, but the stream is already down. We'll update as soon as it appears again online.

UPDATE 2: You can now stream the album here on NPR.
