Only a few short weeks after Timbaland was accused of copyright infringement, it's now Common who has allegedly been caught stealin'.

On Monday, songwriters Andrew Marks and London McDaniels filed a lawsuit against the U.S. rapper, TMZ reports [via The Daily Swarm], claiming Common ripped off their track "When Will the Day Come" in his tune "Take It EZ."

Apparently, Common failed to gain permission to sample the songwriters' work, though he did credit them. In the the downloadable version of "Take It EZ," it states: "Contains samples from: 'When Will The Day Come.'"

However, Marks and McDaniels allege the rapper never received the proper authorization to use the sample and are demanding unspecified damages for the copyright infringement.
