Fox News has long been known for employing buffoons to spew erroneous opinions on the air, but Coldplay are getting a kick out of the network's latest faux-pas.
Earlier this week, The Greg Gutfeld Show's host and namesake declared Radiohead "the poor man's Coldplay," claiming that the Thom Yorke-fronted band stole all of their moves from Chris Martin and co.
As blatantly inaccurate as Gutfeld's statements were, Coldplay jokingly applauded the Fox News show for the compliment.
In a tweet linking to a story about the TV spot, the band's creative director Phil Harvey wrote: "Finally somebody had the balls to say it!"
It's not the first time Radiohead supporters have been riled up by the Fox News program. Just last week, The Gutfeld Show guest commentator Katherine Timpf described the band's fans as "strange, malnourished and sad."
Relive Gutfeld's comments about both British bands in the segment below.
