Wiry Atlanta punk outfit the Coathangers get pretty literal in their playground-located new vid for "Merry Go Round."
While the dance-punk number has singer-guitarist Julia Kugel using the piece of equipment as a metaphor for a confusing relationship, the clip itself has some dude in a creepy mask playing it on the nose, gyrating on the spinning steel disc. Making things even more facepalm-worthy is how the dude seems to have acquired some band merch in the form of — you guessed it — a clothes hanger.
While the Coathangers recently dropped a split single with Vancouver's Nü Sensae, "Merry Go Round" comes from last year's split with Heavy Cream.
