Close Talker

"Heads" (video)

BY Alex HudsonPublished Apr 3, 2014

In 2013, Saskatoon Seinfeld referencers Close Talker have already released their album Timbers and the EP Slow Weather, and now they've followed those with a video for an unreleased cut called "Heads."

The song is an atmospheric, gently reflective pop-rock number, while the accompanying video was directed by Nathan Boey on Mount Seymour near Vancouver. It contains beautiful black and white nature footage, along with surreal images of rising steam, headless bodies, watery reflections and even levitation.

Check it out below.

As previously reported, Close Talker are touring with Jordan Klassen this spring, as well as headlining some shows of their own. You can see the entire schedule below.

Following the dates, Close Talker plan to head to Montreal's famed Breakglass Studios to record their next album with producer Jace Lasek (Besnard Lakes, Wolf Parade, Stars). While there's no firm release plan yet, the PR promises the "12 songs mark a significant growth in the Close Talker's expansive sound."
