Cloak/Dagger to Release Limited "Don't Need A" Single

When we found out that Virginia-based punk unit Cloak/Dagger were dropping a new LP of their unique hardcore garage rock, we were beyond excited. Then, when we heard the melodically pummelling new single, "Don't Need A", we could hardly contain ourselves.

And while the original release date for Lost Art came and went with no album, now we're told the record will be out November 3. To tide us over, Jade Tree has teamed up with Grave Mistake to offer a limited Cloak/Dagger seven-inch.

The record was originally released in Europe by Adagio 830 earlier this year, and features "Don't Need A" on the A-side, with non-album tracks "Twenty on One" and "Jesus Had a Twin" on the reverse. Jade Tree has released the single on black vinyl with a green and black cover, along with a digital download version, while Grave Mistake have a red and black cover, with 200 red vinyl copies available for mail order. As Grave Mistake put it on their site, "This will be a one-time press, so once they are gone, they are gone."

Cloak/Dagger will be playing their official record release show for Lost Art on October 31 as part of The Fest.
