Classified (aka Luke Boyd) has been a fixture of the East Coast hip-hop scene for a decade-and-a-half, and he's showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. On March 22, he will release a new LP, Hand Shakes and Middle Fingers, which will be supported by a lengthy cross-Canada tour.
The new album will come out via Sony. It will be Classified's second major label LP, following 2009's Self Explanatory. According to a press release, the record "features 15 'classy' new tracks focusing on themes of balance, addressing the ups and downs of the continuing changes in one's life."
For a taste of what that sounds like, go here to check out "That Ain't Classy." At that link, you can also see some clips of the forthcoming music video, which will drop in the coming weeks.
Two days after Hand Shakes and Middle Fingers arrives in stores, Classified will hit the road. The Canadian jaunt includes a whopping 22 dates. Surprisingly, the Nova Scotian rapper doesn't have any dates booked in Atlantic Canada. See the schedule below.
