Clan of Xymox

In 1985, the Sisters of Mercy released First, Last, and Always; in 1999, this album has almost been re-released by Clan of Xymox. “The spirit of nostalgia is passing” uttered in a deadpan Eldritch vocal on “Jasmine and Rose” isn’t correct — Clan of Xymox are strictly nostaglia. They must have either purchased an older model of Dr. Avalanche at an Eldritch garage sale or picked him out of the trash to get that authentic Doktor sound. When nostalgia cravings hit, playing that era goth music would be the obvious choice over this bat dung.
