Ambient artist claire rousay has shared "i no longer have that glowing thing inside of me," a new, nearly 12-minute piece of music to raise money for Palestinian families displaced by the war in Gaza.
A Bandcamp exclusive, all proceeds from "i no longer have that glowing thing inside of me" will be donated to Anera, an organization that "addresses the development and relief needs of refugees and vulnerable communities in Palestine and Lebanon." The donations from rousay's latest will go toward providing food and hygiene kits to families in Gaza.
The track is a lovely, patient piece of music that features piano, muffled conversations and violin and cello by Julia Brüssel and Emily Wittbrodt, respectively. It was recorded in Cologne and mastered by Andrew Weathers.
rousay's last release was August's Sigh in My Ear. You can listen to "i no longer have that glowing thing inside of me" below, and head over to Bandcamp to make a donation.
