Earlier this year, Montreal-based indie rockers the City Streets released the tandem albums Winter Lightning and Sawdust & Rum via Clamour Records. Now, they've filmed a clip for the moody rock tune "Tristesse" from the more power pop-oriented Winter Lightning.
The simple black and white clip, produced and edited by Justin Lachance, was filmed using a few stationary cameras in the band's tiny practice space. This is the third video in a series that was recorded live in the cozy room.
Winter Lightning was recorded with Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Wolf Parade) at Hotel2Tango. Learn more about it and Sawdust & Rum here.
