Following a recent deluxe edition re-release of Circa Survive's Violent Waves, the Philadelphia post-hardcore act have now announced they'll sail their first proper album for Sumerian Records our way next month. Their Descensus comes down the pipeline on November 24.
Not all of the details have been delivered just yet, but a new album trailer showcasing a smidgen of a new song was uploaded today (October 16). The clip also puts on display the nautical artwork, which features a scaly creature of the sea dismantling a raft manned with several matryoshka-style balloons. You can see the video down below and the art up above.
Pre-orders for the set go up on October 27, with the band also set to unveil a new song that same day. Whether or not this will be the same song featured in the trailer remains to be seen.
While there are no Canadian concert dates on the horizon, Circa Survive will be hitting a number of U.S. clubs alongside Title Fight, Tera Melos and Pianos Become the Teeth between November and December. You'll find the show details over here.
