Last month, iconic disco troupe Chic announced that they would be returning with a new LP for the first time in 20 years. Now, the first single from the forthcoming album has made its way online.
"I'll Be There" is a full-fledged funk explosion, indicating that Nile Rodgers and the gang will be returning to the spotlight (or at least the shine of a disco ball) in fine form.
The new record is currently under the working title It's About Time and is tentatively scheduled for release in June via Warner Bros. Records.
