Edmonton songwriter Cayley Thomas is gearing up for the release of her debut LP Weird Love this spring, and to get you set for its arrival, Exclaim! is proud to premiere the music video for leading single "What If/I Wish."
Shot by Dylan Howard and edited by Thomas herself, the clip celebrates people in the artist's community simply doing the things they love. From hockey players to motorcycle mechanics, yogis to clothing designers, the expressions of joy on each video participant are nothing short of genuine.
"It occurred to me that it would be really fun to film a bunch of people simply doing stuff they love," Thomas wrote in a Facebook post. "I wasn't sure if anyone would be into the idea but decided to give it a shot regardless. Five days, 37 participants and 468 cups of coffee later we ended up with a really beautiful snapshot of the community I feel so fortunate to be a part of."
