Calpurnia may be known to most as the band of Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things, but they've proven their chops in the studio and have now revealed plans for their debut EP. Titled Scout, it will arrive on June 15 via Royal Mountain Records.
It's available for pre-order now, on CD, green vinyl and as part of a number of fan bundles. Check out all the options here.
As previously reported, the Vancouver-based four-piece recorded the EP with Twin Peaks' Cadien Lake James. They gave us a glimpse into the making of the record with the recent "City Boy" video.
The band are set to share some more material off the upcoming EP, as well. They've unveiled a new single called "Louie," and you can stream it down below. The track features Colin Croom on piano, as well as "choir boy harmonies and backing vocals" alongside James.
"The lyrics are written from the perspective of a guy who always leaves his partner, and though she does everything she can to hold down the fort at home, he never shows up," guitarist Ayla Tesler-Mabe said in a statement. "The guitar solo is meant to convey the longing she feels for him to come home, and the loneliness she feels without him at her side."

Following the release of Scout, Calpurnia will join labelmates like Mac Demarco, U.S. Girls and Ought at the Royal Mountain Records at Rasberry Farm show on September 2.

2. Wasting Time
3. Greyhound
