Fronted by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, Calpurnia are gearing up to unleash their debut EP later this year, and they've just treated fans to another sneak preview of the mini-effort with a video for "City Boy."
As previously reported, Calpurnia are recording with Twin Peaks' Cadien Lake James, and the Vancouver-based four-piece have given us a behind-the-scenes look at their in-studio process.
Wolfhard and bandmates Malcolm Craig, Ayla Tesler-Mabe and Jack Anderson manage to make a hard day's work look like a pretty good time, and neon-lit lyrics and animations only add to the fun. The clip was shot by Josiah Marshall.
"This video is a look into a day in the studio working on our record with Cadien, filmed and edited by our now great buddy Josiah Marshall," lead guitarist Tesler-Mabe said in a statement. "Hopefully this video can convey how much fun this whole experience was for all of us, and that this music is really just the product of a bunch of friends who love music coming together to create something."
Firm details have yet to be announced for the band's debut EP, but they will appear onstage with labelmates Mac DeMarco and U.S. Girls in Hamilton this summer for Royal Mountain at Rasberry Farm.
