Edmonton-based pop-punk crew Calling All Captains have two EPs and an impressive run on 2015's Vans Warped Tour behind them, but they're keeping the momentum moving forward with a brand new video for "Nerve."
The track hears them debuting a tighter, more polished sound, and the new clip aims to match that sonic ambition.
"When we sat down after releasing our last EP we decided that were had come as far as we could as a local band in a local setting," the band's Nick Malychuk tells Exclaim! "So we set our eyes on the horizon, put our feet to the floor and started busting ass to get to our next step."
That next step involved working with director Wyatt Clough, who came all the way back to Canada from a job in Japan to step in and steer the video.
The result is a crisp visual capture of shots that switch between the band performing "Nerve," and frontman Mike Millan walking the grey, industrial underpass of a bridge.
