Céline Dion has announced that her long-running Las Vegas residency will come to an end next year.
She announced that the next run of shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace will be her last. The final concert will take place on June 8, 2019.
Tickets for the upcoming final performances will go on to the general public this Friday (September 28).
Dion shared a statement about ending her residency on social media. It reads:
I definitely have mixed emotions about this final run. Las Vegas has become my home and performing at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been a big part of my life for the past two decades. It's been an amazing experience and I'm so grateful to all the fans who have come to see us throughout the years. Every show we do at the Colosseum throughout this fall, and right up until the final one, will feel very special.
The Canadian diva began her residency at Caesars Palace in 2003, performing there until 2007. She launched her second run at the same Las Vegas venue in 2011 and has been performing there since.
