Céline Dion Fans Protest Outside 'Rolling Stone' Offices After "Greatest Singers of All Time" List Snub

"How can you forget Céline?"

It's the two-year anniversary of the infamous US capital insurrection, and — probably coincidentally — Céline Dion fans have decided to host one of their own, storming the Rolling Stone offices in New York City to defend the legacy (and vocal chops) of their beloved French-Canadian powerhouse.

The protest is in response to Rolling Stone's recently published 200 Greatest Singers of All Time list, which has successfully sparked plenty of conversation across the Twittersphere. The biggest talking point — among fans, anyway — is the snub of Céline Dion, who was left off the list in what her supporters see as an egregious miscarriage of justice.

They voiced those feelings with a small protest on the steps of Rolling Stone headquarters today, waving signs (some in French) that shamed the publication and declared their love of Céline. Judging by the smiling and dancing going on, the whole thing looked mostly like a good-natured goof, though the follow-through required to pull out the markers and glitter glue shows just how deep and serious the love for Dion is.

See a video of the protest below.
