As previously reported, UK electronic veteran the Bug (aka Kevin Martin) is set to finally follow up his 2008 LP London Zoo with a new record that includes, among others, a collaboration with ambient folk great Grouper (aka Liz Harris). That's not the only guest-heavy project he has in the works, however, as there's a new Bug EP on the horizon.
The new release is called Filthy, and will offer four new tracks spread across two 10-inch records. In addition to Martin's compositions, the album will feature regular guests Flowdan, Daddy Freddy and Kiki Hitomi of King Midas Sound. Most interestingly, however, is the fact that Detroit rap phenom Danny Brown will also make an appearace.
While a release date hasn't surfaced just yet, the EP should arrive shortly from Ninja Tune. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
Filthy:
