Broken Social Scene Plot Tour To Mark Solo Albums

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jul 31, 2008

With the brand new release of Brendan Canning’s Something For All Of Us and last year’s Kevin Drew-helmed Spirit If…, Broken Social Scene are now two albums into their proposed Broken Social Scene Presents series. As such, it’s time for a tour.

Promising material from the Canning and Drew discs, as well as some good ol’ BSS material, the band will spend the majority of their autumn on the road. Starting at Lollapalooza in Chicago, the band will plough through a string of North American dates, hitting up Montreal’s Osheaga Music and Arts Festival and the Regina, Edmonton, and Ottawa Folk Festivals along the way. Other than a break in September, the band will be gone from August through the end of October.
