If you're a big BSS head, you'll already know that Broken Social Scene have a thing for Modest Mouse. After all, back in 2008, Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock joined the Toronto, ON collective onstage to deliver his "The World at Large" and "The Good Times Are Killing Me," with the BSS crew serving as his backing band. Now, Broken Social Scene have reworked the former track and shared the results.
You can watch a video of BSS taking on "The World at Large" below (the cover begins in earnest at the three-minute mark). The clip comes as part of the Voice Project, a series aimed at raising money for victimized women in Uganda.
Thanks to TwentyFourBit for pointing this one out.
