Briefs

Steal Your Heart

BY Davey JonesPublished Feb 1, 2006

Best described as a collection of anti-love songs in the Buzzcocks vein, this band will take the keys to your heart and toss ’em down the sewer. If ’77-style pop punk is your thing, the Briefs will take you there and you won’t want to come back. Frenetic ditties like "Getting Hit On At the Bank” and "I Can’t Work” are served up in true nose-thumbing punk spirit and a side order of dark humour. It might be difficult to believe these guys hail from Seattle, but regardless, this is one for the collection.
