Brian Borcherdt's Dusted Lines Up North American Dates with A Place to Bury Strangers

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 22, 2012

As previously reported, Brian Borcherdt is stepping away from his regular duties in Holy Fuck to release a solo LP as Dusted. But before Total Dust's July 10 release through Polyvinyl/Hand Drawn Dracula, the Nova Scotia native will play a hometown show, and then head out on a West Coast tour.

The first show on Borcherdt's tour schedule takes place this Thursday (May 24) at Toronto's Great Hall with Bruce Peninsula. In two weeks time, he'll make his way down to San Diego to meet up with Brooklyn noise pop unit A Place to Bury Strangers for the last leg of their North American jaunt. The trip will take both acts up to Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret before Dusted bounces back to Toronto for a Hand Drawn Dracula showcase at NXNE. You can see all the details down below.

Total Dust won't hit retailers until July, but Borcherdt has unveiled another new track from the LP. Following the first free offering, "(Into the) Atmosphere," Dusted has now delivered "Property Lines," which also features performances from Holy Fuck members Graham Walsh, Matt McQuaid and Brad Kilpatrick. You can stream both songs down below.
