Montreal-via-Edmonton songwriter Garrett Johnson continues to crank out the oddball pop with his long-running Brazilian Money project. The band recently released a self-titled album via Psychic Handshake, and now they've announced a summer tour.
Though they won't bring their musical currency to their namesake of Brazil, the band will bring their tunes on a week-long Canadian jaunt. They'll kick things off in Montreal, then follow it up with shows throughout Ontario.
To announce the dates, Johnson threw on a skimpy banana costume. You can watch his pitch-shifted video below.
Tour dates:
07/14 Montreal, QC - Poisson Noire
07/15 Ottawa, ON - House of TARG
07/16 Kingston, ON - Wolfe Island Grill
07/17 London, ON - The Loft
07/18 Guelph, ON - The Making Box
07/19 Hamilton, ON - The Casino
07/20 Toronto, ON - The Smiling Buddha
