A year and a half since Brasstronaut released their Mean Sun album, the atmospheric Vancouver jazz-pop ensemble are still hard at work promoting it. They've just shared a video for the track "The Grove."
A description accompanying the clip for this synth-y, syncopated tune explains, "'The Grove' is a dreamlike and playful community theatre reenactment of a true story from [frontman] Edo [Van Breeman]'s past growing up in Miami, Florida, in the 80's."
The story, as it's depicted in this Salazar-directed clip, is one of drug deals, intrigue, money, classy parties and sinister repercussions.
