Brass

'No Soap Radio' (album stream)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 2, 2015

As previously reported, brash Vancouver quartet Brass are only a few days away from releasing their debut full-length, No Soap Radio. But, as if it were a sudsy bar of Dove's Deep + Clean, the band have dropped the LP ahead of time via an online stream. Hardly sanitized or polished, you can listen the whole punky thing right now.

A few months back we were treated to streams of "Talk Like an Idiot" and "Steal of a Deal," as well as a video for "Monolithic." Now, you can suck back on the noxious fumes of "Garbalanche," or the updated, stoned-and-misanthropic "Strut Punchin'," which was originally on the group's self-titled EP.

Elsewhere, they kick out the party punk jams with fired-up entries "The Beat" and "What's Next?", while societal dread and sax solos are threaded together in album closer "Plane's That Never."
