It's been five years since the Killers' crooning frontman Brandon Flowers shared his debut solo album Flamingo. As reported last August, he's been working on a new album with producer Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM, Vampire Weekend). Today, more details of that LP have emerged.
Flowers shared the above note on his official site, explaining that the album is called The Desired Effect. He also confirmed that it'll be out on May 18.
The note reads in full, "May 18, 2015, we will finally achieve The Desired Effect. Ariel and I have been collaborating in the studio, working twogether in the spirit of conversation, contention, and at long last, sweet contrition. No one has yet seen or heard the change. But soon, we all will."
Flowers also previewed the album with a brief teaser video. Called "Keys," it can be viewed below.
