Brand New Officially Release 2006's 'Leaked Demos'

It's been a little while since alt-rock act Brand New lived up to their name and released some brand new music. While we still await their long-promised fifth studio album, the group have just made some 2006 demo leaks officially available for the first time.

The demos leaked online nearly 10 years ago, on January 24, 2006. The collection has long been referred to as Fight Off Your Demons, but now it simply exists as a cassette called Leaked Demos.

The release was made available as a digital download and limited cassette via Procrastinate! Music Traitors and serves as the only official release of the demos as sanctioned by the band.

Leaked Demos also marks the first time some of these songs have been given official titles. You can peep the tracklisting below.

Here's hoping this activity means Brand New are inching closer to the release of their long-awaited new album. Their last proper release was 2009's Daisy, though they returned with a new studio track called "Mene" earlier this year.

Leaked Demos:

1. Good Man
2. 1996
3. Brother's Song
4. Missing You
5. Nobody Moves
6. Luca
7. Fork and Knife
8. Yeah (Sowing Season)
9. Battalions
