The last bit of new music we heard from Brand New was the standalone track "Mene," released in April of last year. That has now changed with the release of new track "I Am a Nightmare."
The upbeat track is marked by a memorable guitar hook and a strong, harmonized chorus. It hasn't been determined if the track will appear on a forthcoming full-length record from the band. Their last was 2009's Daisy, though they did make some 2006 demos available for the first time late last year.
