Now that listeners have had a few months to digest the Say It LP, Toronto pop minimalists Born Ruffians are getting set to roll out another new treat for their fans: an EP called Plinky Plonk, due out digitally on October 12 via Paper Bag.

It was first announced on the band's official website in a post by frontman Luke Lalonde, who revealed that the disc would be available immediately at all of the band's shows. He wrote, "We've collected some songs that didn't make it on the record, an alternate version of one that did and some other odds and ends."

A press release adds that it contains seven songs, including "a drastically new version of album track "Retard Canard" (which has been retitled "Retard Canard II") and remixes by VOWLS and the Acorn.

See the full tracklist below and the album cover above. If you scroll to the bottom of this page, you can take a listen to the track "First Date Kid," which features singing from Tokyo Police Club's David Monks.
