Last month, Bob Dylan returned with a 17-minute song about John F. Kennedy's assassination, but he's cut the runtime down for new original "I Contain Multitudes."
Dylan's latest finds him singing "I'm just like Anne Frank, like Indiana Jones / And them British bad boys, the Rolling Stones," while also referencing Chopin, Beethoven, Edgar Allan Poe and more.
The songwriting icon's aforementioned 17-minute burner, "Murder Most Foul," was his first No. 1 song on any Billboard chart.
Dylan's most recent album of original material is 2012's Tempest. In the years since, he's released a trio of standards collections: 2015's Shadows in the Night, 2016's Fallen Angels and 2017's Triplicate.
Last year saw Dylan release another new volume in his Bootleg Series.
