Blue Hawaii have announced a new EP called My Bestfriend's House — arriving February 18 on Arbutus Records — and they're introducing it with new single "L.O.V.E."
The new song is funky and glistening and fits cleanly into the duo's established sound, with a slightly more organic and tactile feel than what was on last year's Under 1 House EP.
My Bestfriend's House is said to be inspired by "themes of love and empathy," and features songwriter and keyboardist Edwin de Goeij on the title track and "Danced Into My Life." Saxophonist Adam Kinner plays on "L.O.V.E".
