Black Sabbath have officially called it quits, and frontman Ozzy Osbourne is making his final rounds, so now it's time for the band to sit back, relax and bask in the glory of hometown monuments being dedicated to them.
Their U.K. hometown of Birmingham has announced plans for a custom-designed bench in their honour — which makes sense because benches are made out of heavy metal? Or something?
As the Birmingham Mail points out, the stainless steel bench will be handmade in the Jewellery Quarter of the city, and it will feature images of band members Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, with the inscription: "Geezer. Ozzy. Tony. Bill. Made in Birmingham 1968."
A bridge on Broad Street will also potentially be renamed after the group, which would likely provide the perfect spot to place the bench.
The band seems on board with the proposed plan, as Iommi shared the idea on Twitter.
Ward is also set to receive a star on the city's Walk of Stars, as is the band as a collective. Osbourne, Iommi and Butler already have their own stars.
