Black Mountain are almost ready to drop their new Destroyer album, but before they do, the Vancouver psych-rock unit are giving us another teaser track. This time, it's the album cut "Licensed to Drive."
In a statement, the band's Stephen McBean had this to say about the song: "A riff in A flat and some Neu / Nugent / Newman Motorik hustle. Was the vacation better than the journey or did the drive etch itself into your soul? I'd like to thank the DMV for the inspiration."
Down below, you can check out "Licensed to Drive" for yourself down below.
Destroyer is due out May 24 via Dine Alone/Jagjaguwar.
Tour dates:
05/09 Toronto - Lee's Palace
05/11 Toronto - CMW

05/26 Pioneertown, CA - Stoned and Dusted
