The Black Keys

Live on 'SNL'

BY Alex HudsonPublished Dec 4, 2011

The Black Keys have a new album, El Camino, due out this Tuesday (December 6), and they got the word out last night (December 3) by hitting up Saturday Night Live to treat the audience at 30 Rock to a couple of new songs.

Accompanied by a bassist and a keyboard player, the core duo of frontman Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney tore through their new single "Lonely Boy." The song is one of the group's catchiest, and the backing musicians mean that this rendition is especially punchy.

Later in the show, the group returned to play the slower, groove-heavy "Gold on the Ceiling." Watch both performances below.
