Big K.R.I.T. recently asked us to "Pay Attention" to his smooth and synthy Rico Love collaboration of the same name, and now the Mississippi spitter has revealed he'll be commanding our gazes on stages North America wide this fall on an upcoming tour.
Making for a bit of a motif, K.R.I.T. announced plans for his "Pay Attention Tour" today (August 14), with the trip set to start in early October. A press release explains that though details are still pending on K.R.I.T.'s upcoming sophomore studio LP Cadillactica, but the North American journey will have Southern rap figure highlighting material from the forthcoming effort.
"This tour will give fans a little taste of what is to come," he said in a statement. "I am travelling with a message, a message about our culture — where we were and what we have come to. I want to make sure people are paying attention to what is happening in their lives and in hip-hop today."
While much of the tour, which finds the rapper travelling with Atlanta outfit Two-9, works across the U.S. club circuit, there are a few Canadian dates on the itinerary. Before wrapping in mid-November, they'll hit Toronto, Montreal, Victoria and Vancouver.
