Vancouver's BESTiE are best known for their summery, fun synth pop, but they've taken a sombre tone with the video for their track "Foolish Hearts."
The clip pairs shots of frontman Tristan Orchard pensively walking through a graveyard and a railyard with footage of band members standing beside their various instruments and other abstract shots.
The band described the video's creation with the following statement:
The video was shot by the band, directed by lead singer Tristan Orchard for a $300 budget. The song's about heartbreak and loss. The video was spur of the moment inspired and improvised after one of the band member's grandmother passed away when there was an unusual Vancouver snowfall the next morning prompting the shoot.
