After last year's The Only Place, you might think that Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino would be too busy with her Urban Outfitters and Clarks collaborations to focus on music. That's not the case, however, as she's announced that a new EP will be released this year.
Taking to YouTube from her bedroom, Cosentino revealed that the release will be recorded this month. "I'm making this nerdy video because I wanted to be the first to tell you that Bobb [Bruno] and I are going to be heading back into the study starting February 11th to record a brand new EP," she said. You can check out the announcement below.
No word yet on the title or release date for the record, but it will be released this year. It'll follow up the band's Record Store Day 7-inch, which is due out on April 20.
Best Coast also have a slate of tour dates, including numerous stops with Green Day. The full schedule is available below.
