In addition to a couple dozen tracks from some of their favourite artists, Belle and Sebastian's new LateNightTales compilation includes one new recording from the twee Scottish heroes: a cover of the Primitives' indie pop crossover hit "Crash."
Unlike the perky jangle pop of the original, this Belle and Sebastian cover is a far more laid-back mid-tempo folk tune. It's an interesting take on the song, but slowing the track down makes it far less world conqueringly catchy. Take a listen below.
